Do you ever have those days where you feel like you know so little? Like you grasp so small of a piece of the entire puzzle? It's tough for someone like me who likes to be in control, to have a hand in everything and to plan plan plan. I learn more and more every day that life is patience and flexibility. It's all about building a future out of clay that can be molded rather than stone that does not shift. Working through the small steps, taking things as they come, and smiling at the joy of not knowing the entire road ahead. Having faith in the bigger picture before it is in front of me in its entirety.
I made You promises a thousand times
I tried to hear from Heaven
But I talked the whole time
I think I made You too small
I never feared You at all No
If You touched my face would I know You?
Looked into my eyes could I behold You?
What do I know of You
Who spoke me into motion?
Where have I even stood
But the shore along Your ocean?
Are You fire? Are You fury?
Are You sacred? Are You beautiful?
What do I know? What do I know of Holy?
